province about voting in a general election of member of parliament in 2019

ABSTRACT

This research's objective is to study of understanding of students in Pibulsongkram
Rajabhat University, Phlai Chumphon, Muang district, Phitsanulok about voting in a general
election of member of parliament in 2019 that separates as these three topics; 1) To study
an understanding level of students in Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, Phlai Chumphon,

Muang district, Phitsanulok for going to the polls in 2019. 2) To study an understanding of
students in Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, Phlai Chumphon, Muang district, Phitsanulok
for going to the polls in 2019. 3) To study data source of receiving the news of students in
Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, Phlai Chumphon, Muang district, Phitsanulok for going to
the polls in 2019.
The researcher uses the methods of survey and data collection with 400 papers of

questionaire by general sampling in both of students with understanding of election and
students without understanding of election as well as their political participation are ranked
in 3 levels as low, moderate and high featuring sex, degree, faculty, and knowledge source of
following political news.The results of study indicate that the different understanding of
election will affect to different political participation. The obstacle and problem of political
participation are the students' shortages of political knowledge and understanding including
good and bad attitudes against political process.

The writer's opinion is that practically taking an action for results comprises students'
election participation and students' collaboration of buliding a good awareness in political
participation. These factors are a good start for developing a future Thai politics.
