assessment forms, i.e. Internal Integrity and Transparency Assessment (IIT), External Integrity

and Transparency Assessment (EIT) and Open Data Integrity and Transparency Assessment
(OIT). There are 145 public sector agencies participating in the assessment.

The overall results of the assessment of morality and transparency in operations of

government agencies in Chiang Rai province show that the average scores of all departments
are 74.29 percent. There are 41 government agencies (28.28 percent) that passed the

evaluation criteria (with scores from 85 points or more) and 104 agencies (71.72 percent)
that did not pass the evaluation criteria. Policy recommendations on prevention and

suppression of corruption are that agencies must have a plan for preventive measures and
regular reporting of the fraud investigation. Suggestions at operational level are that the

agencies should disseminate information to the publics via information technology systems

so that people have knowledge and understanding about services of the agencies. The
agencies should also strengthen the corporate culture of the staff to have an attitude, values,

and honest work.
