                 Two-Factors Theory Affecting the Decision on Job Rotation of Administration Government

                                                        ABSTRACT

                          The main objectives of this study were (1) to study Two-Factors Theory affecting the
               decision on job rotation of administration government officers of Pathumwan District Office. (2) to
               suggest and purpose key recommendations for solving and preventing problems about job rotation
               of administration sections of the Pathumwan District Office.
                          This independent study is the qualitative research. The studied population were 15
               Administration  Government  Officers  of  Pathumwan  District  Office,  and  15  in  the  past  were
               Administration  Government  Officers  of  Pathumwan  District  Office,  thus  the  total  amount  of
               population were 30 people. The research sampling of 9 interviewees were selected by using the
               purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by using a structured interview method. The
               content analysis method was used in order to analyze the study data. Relevant documents were
               additionally analyzed to support the research.
                          The research results showed that: (1) the Motivation factors affecting the decision on
               job rotation of administration government officers include achievement, recognition, advancement,
               work itself and responsibility. The Hygiene factors, policies and administration, supervision technical,
               interpersonal relationship, job position, personal life and salary also affect the decision making for
               job rotation of administration sections of the Pathumwan District Office. (2) In order to prevent and
               solve the problems of job rotation of administration sections of the Pathumwan District Office , the
               researcher proposes 3 recommendations that are 1   Increasing the cost of living , overtime pay for

               work and additional benefits, such as renting a house or guesthouse near the Pathumwan District
               Office for Administration Government Officers.2) Considering to separate general administrative
               group and public relations group from Administration Government Officers of Pathumwan District
               Office  to  increase  the  progress  for  government  officers.  3) Providing  training  about  context  of
               Pathumwan District Office, especially in the Administrative Official for development the manager
               and staff to truly create knowledge and understanding.
